Graduate Assistant | Working under Professor Michelle Itczak in the College of Applied Behavioral Sciences – Assisting in Art 160: Introduction to Art Therapy, offering student online support and troubleshooting, creating quizzes, lessons, and offering office hours once a week. Assisting Professor Itczack with research pertaining to a variety of subjects, collaborating with her on presentations, and performing administrative duties. 
 

Little Explorers Preschool | August 2020 – Present

Teacher | Lead and assistant teacher, working with students ages 3-5 at varying educational levels. Teaching a variety of lessons and skills, including social-emotional learning, large and small motor skills, language/literacy, and cognitive skills/problem solving. Experienced in leading small and large group activities, classroom management, conflict resolution between students, and creating activities to exceed educational standards. 
 

Herron School of Art + Design | January 2020 – May 2020

Teacher of Record | Beginning Painting I – Teaching students the basics of oil painting including color theory, paint application/handling, working from life and photo, and general painting skills. Assisting students during class with projects, critiques, lesson planning, and providing demonstrations. In charge of conducting lessons, grading, and maintaining clear communication with students in person and online.
 

 Herron School of Art + Design | August 2019 – December 2019

Graduate Assistant | Drawing I – Helping professor with daily tasks such as attendance, expanding on lessons, and clarifying materials for students. Supported by teaching drawing skills including, but not limited to, line drawing, contour drawing, blind contour, and shading value. Introduced students to a variety of materials including charcoal, graphite, colored pencil, and graphite sticks.
